The Power of One

I remember watching a film a long time ago called The Power of One. In the film someone questions the main character and asks what kind of a difference he thinks he can make being only one person. The main character responds by saying that a waterfall starts with only one drop of water and look what becomes of it.

So we have our first Canadian Project 200 sponsor and let me tell you every single one counts.

Lets hope what starts with one turns into many more and that we reach our goal and beyond.

Great news, we heard just a few days ago that another 15 people in Northern Ireland have signed up to Project 200! Way to go Ireland!

Hope Village Children

Project 200 is about people and it is about commitment. A commitment to give a small regular amount to help Hope Village run its weekly programmes that help change the lives of orphans and widows.

It's about children like those in the photo that need to know about an incredible God who loves them and cares for them. A big God that even touches the hearts of people thousands of miles away to give a little each month to help them in their poverty and pain. 

It's about people like you who may not ever see the children face to face but who are able to join  with them heart to heart. Who thanks to Gods blessing are able to stand up and say 'I am one of the 200'.

Project 200 Update September 2010

We have been travelling around churches in the UK promoting the work of Hope Village and signing up individulas to Project 200.

So far we have 30 people signed up and many more that have taken forms home to complete.

At the end of the month we travel to Northern Ireland and will be visiting many churches so please pray that as we promote Hope Village that it captures the hearts of people and we get many more signing up to Project 200.
