HOPE CHILDREN'S HOME NAYA DHOKA
Home A and Home B
The Hope Childrens Home Naya Dhoka is a local initiative in collaboration with Hope For The Nations and other (I)NGO's. We began our work in October 1994 under a non-government organisation, and we were officially registered on April 7th, 1995.
We now have 30 children, 19 boys and 11 girls, from many different parts of Nepal, aging from 6 to 16 years. There are two children's homes each caring for 15 children. This provides more of a "large family" feeling for the children.
All of the children at Naya Dhoka are enrolled in school and are excelling academically.

PEDONG CHILDREN'S HOME
The children's home is located on the Bhutan border on a road leading to Tibet. There are presently 17 children being cared for in the home.

HOPE FOR THE NATIONS NEPAL (HFN, Nepal)
Hope for the Nations is in coalition with Hope for the Nations, Nepal (HOPE FOR NEPAL) since 1995. The mission of HFTN, Nepal is to reach out to the children at risk and rescue them to the family and raise them in the family environment. HFTN Nepal believes that today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. Touching and transforming next generation with the love of Christ and training them to be the leaders in their sphere of profession is their passion.
Hope for the Nations, Nepal is located in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Hope for the Nations, Nepal was founded in 1995. There are different programs under Hope for the Nations, Nepal focusing children and women at risk and influencing next generation to be the leaders in their area of profession and call.
Hope Children Home which is called Hope Family offers orphans a safe and supportive environment. Children are restored in the family environment and grow as a normal child. They are provided with food, education, shelter and most importantly a family to grow in godly environment.
Presently, there are two children homes. One of these homes has seven children. They are located ten kilo meters apart. These homes hope to accommodate 15 to 20 children in each home. They would like to take in three more kids in each home thus both of these homes will have ten children.
Hope family tries to instill the godly values in each of these children. Each of these children is taught to learn that they are made in the image of God. God is their father and they are no longer orphans when they come to Hope Family and grow under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Building the sound self esteem and confidence in God is the one of the mission of Hope Family. Hope Family conducts various programs to ensure that these children have achieved these goals.
HFTN Nepal wants to develop the self sustaining homes. In order to accomplish this goal, they would like to have their own land and buildings for each home. They also want to develop an efficient farm. Something to Eat Every Day (SEED) program develops various farming methods to grow food for the children home. This project also provides the opportunity to children for practical learning experience.
Special Projects:
Water Filter: HFTN Nepal builds water filter and distributes it to the poor community. The program is developed in partnership with Samaritan Purse Canada
Goat and Pig Programs: Providing goats and pigs to the families for income generation is one of HFTN Nepal’s programs to help the community.
SEED Training: HFTN trains villagers to learn the efficient and effective farming technique in a small plot of land.
Sponsorship: Sponsoring children in the community for better education is also one of HFTN Nepal’s programs.
