Our vision is to build homes for children at risk

I am a businessman and I know the value of hard work and good investment.

Hard work puts bread on the table and still leaves me with funds to invest into the lives of others. My wife and I believe that social responsibility is caring for ourselves and also caring for those in the ‘humanitarian space’.

Judy and I are trying to make James 1:27 our life's mission statement … “caring for widows and orphans in distress”. We have a dream. Our desire is to be involved in building homes for those in need.

Through our partnership with Hope for the Nations we have partnered in 4 different projects where widows and orphans are the beneficiaries of the labours. Many of you have helped us achieve our goals.

Yet, our hearts are to continue to build many more homes. We invite you to participate.

BUILDING A HOME for MARYANN - Ganta, Liberia

MaryAnn is a hero ... she works tirelessly to save the lives of malnurished children.

Abandoned and abused children found in local villages are brought to the Hope Children's Center to receive treatment and to be restored back to health. Hundreds of lives have been saved.

MaryAnn sacrifices for others. Now, we want to sacrifice for her: Build her a home.

    • MaryAnn has been on our HFTN staff for 8 years now.
    • She is responsible for the care of all the children that come into our centre severely malnourished.
    • She helps care for the children as well as train the families and parents how to eat properly.
    • She is responsible for some of our feeding programs that we operate in distant villages.
    • She has a passion to save lives of young kids who are close to death.
    • She also cares for and raises two of her grandchildren.

    THE NEED:

    • HFTN has bought for her a lot where she can build her own house so she does not have to sleep at the Center
    • She has made the bricks and is now moving toward building her house.

OUR GOAL: Raise $4,500 for MaryAnn to build her own home.

We invite you to this nobel cause.
