Survival Bracelets for Somalia

This past summer, our 9 year daughter Kathryn was challenged by the staff at M4 Camp to let God do Something Big (Eph. 3:20) through her. We were watching the news one night and she saw the pain and suffering the children in Somalia are going through and she said "Mom, we have to do something to help them." After thinking on it a little while she came up with the idea of making Survival Bracelets and selling them and giving all the money to starving people in Somalia. God tells us throughout the Bible that we can accomplish more with the help of others than by ourselves. That's the symbol of the bracelet. Inside there are 7 strands of nylon. Each one not able to hold much of anything. Weave them together and they can hold 550 pounds. So far she, her brother, and friends have raised $550 for the Global Enrichment Foundation’s Convoy for Hope. People are still asking her to make them.
Please pray for:

the people who buy the bracelets- that God will move more of them to action for Christ

The people delivering the food- safety
