Greetings friends. Here's a brief synopsis. I grew up in Calgary and graduated at UofC in '72 with a PE degree. In 1996, I received a M. of Ministry from Prairie Graduate School. I am married to Sheila, with two married sons and one grand-daughter. We attend Bonavista Baptist in Calgary where I serve as Chair of our Missions Committee. I spent 34 years in the oil patch in contracts and negotiations before retiring in 2007 to write a book and renovate our family ranch-home. Since retiring, I've made two mission trips to Kenya with HFTN and currently support two projects: Heroes of Christ children's home in Kitale and the Hope-Masinga Project east of Nairobi. The latter project is preparing to drill for water, and if successful, the intention is to build a children's home in this ravaged area. We have identified over 400 children at risk and are presently helping to feed the most needy.
