DEADLY FLOODING IN CONGO

Update from our agent Ray Bale:
Just days before Congo was to be declared Ebola free, another case surfaced, and then COVID-19. Just when things felt like they couldnt get much worse for this war torn country, the area of Uvira was struck with destructive and deadly flash flooding.
The magnitude and scope of damage is far beyond more than one NGO can possibly respond to. At this point, we know that hundreds of drowned and at least 3500 homes have been destroyed.
Ray along with Mathongo have identified 100 families that they are hoping to help with an emergency package that consists of flour, rice, cooking oil, beans, blankets and a jerry can for water.
The cost for each package is $100.00 USD.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 thanks to a generous donor we have received $5,000 as matching funds so we are already half- way there!
If you are able to help – every bit counts!
